BODY MASS INDEX

Body mass index, or BMI, is a relationship between weight and height that is used to assess a person's health risk. It is calculated with a mathematical formula (weight in kilometers [kg] divided by height in meters [m] squared) that correlates with body fat in adults. The healthy range of an adult's BMI is approximately 19 to 25. You can use this online calculator to find out what your own BMI is:
