Provides limited grants to needy dialysis patients, kidney transplant recipients, and living donors to help cover the costs of health-related expenses, transportation and medication. Provides information and support for kidney donation and transplation, as well as general education and information on kidney disease.

Offers a variety of programs that include advocacy services, donor awareness, referral information, medication and medical center information. Individual fund raising program is designed to utilize resources in patient's community to raise moey for transplant procedure. Works with patients and volunteer committees to develop press releases and plan varioius events and programs. All local funds raised go to medical expenses - no administrative costs are charged.

A national volunteer organization providing grants to transplant recipients to offset the costs of immunosuppressant medications. The amount of grants and the number of individuals who can receive assistant are determined by total contributions each year. The organization also acts a resource referral.

Assistance Programs
Most prescription assistance programs require that patients meet certain income requirements. The Directory of Prescription Assistance Drug Patient Assistant Programs describes more than 55 programs and describes who is eligible, what prescriptions are covered and how to receive assistance.
