SURGICAL SELECTIVES: ANESTHESIOLOGY

Clinical Assignments
Each student is assigned to work with an anesthesia resident and attending from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.
The students are assigned to work 3 days in the main OR, 1 day on labor and delivery and 1 day in the pain clinic.
Lectures
There are daily 3 o'clock (PM) lectures specifically designed for the medical students.
Prerequisites
None.
Course Requirements to Pass
Clinical participation as above, completion and return of case write-up, exam, activity log, procedure checklist, and didactic topics checklist.
Grading
Based on clinical performance, case write-up and exam.
