Paper applications are not available. Application
information for the School of Dental Medicine and the School of Medicine can be
obtained by contacting each school.

What Makes a Complete Application A complete application to the Health Sciences Center, Stony Brook University includes:
Stony Brook University Office of Student Services, HSC, L2-271 Stony Brook, NY 11794-8276 The application for admission, together with all supporting documents, becomes the property of the Health Sciences Center, Office of Student Services once it is submitted. No materials will be returned to the applicant or sent to other institutions. We recommend that you make copies for your own records. All admission correspondence and decision letters will be mailed to your permanent home address. You will receive immediate acknowledgement of your application submission to your email address. Instructions will be included so that you may track your application documents on-line using Stony Brook’s SOLAR system. *NOTE: The law requires that after January 1, 1975, letters of recommendation, references or evaluations, may be kept confidential if the applicant has waived all subsequent rights to examine them. Since confidentiality may affect the type of reference given, the applicant may prefer to sign the waiver. Be sure to check the box indicated on the Reference Report included in the application. Back to Top Return to Main Admissions Page Application Submission Deadlines All programs have individual prerequisites and deadline dates which vary. You will not be able to submit the on-line application after the deadline has expired. Therefore, please check the "Individual Program Deadline Dates" to make sure that you will have enough time to complete the application. Back to Top Return to Main Admissions Page Application Fees and Waivers All applicants are required to pay a Stony Brook University Application Fee. This fee is $40 for each undergraduate program as well as all non credit programs. Graduate and Advanced Certificate programs are $60. Payment can be made by check or credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American Express are accepted).
