Recent Events:
July Orientation/Happy Hour
This past July we sent out emails to each of our Program Representatives asking them to give a short introduction of the NYSRS and ACR to their respective programs. The introduction included a short video from the ACR on “Why the ACR is important to me” and information on our yearly events and meetings.
On July 27, we held a social/happy hour in Manhattan where over 70 residents attended. This was a great opportunity to inform residents about our organization and encourage participation.
Future Events:
Resident Fellowship/Career Workshop Day
This event has been scheduled for Saturday, October 28, at Lenox Hill. The speakers have been finalized and the brochures are in the process of being printed. We anticipate a large turnout given the increased awareness of our society and this event which was publicized at our July event.

1) Budget for RFS
2) Residency Programs support for residents to attend the annual ACR meeting
3) Upcoming RFS officers selection
